Contract and Health Guarantee

Here is a copy of our Contract/Health Guarantee which must be signed and returned before shipping. Unless otherwise noted all puppies will come with AKC FULL REGISTRATION. Full registration means you have the right to breed or show the dog if you desire, but breeding and showing are not guaranteed. All puppies will be sold as pets.

Buyer Responsibilities:

* Have puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery. Seller must be informed immediately of the examination result by email or by fax. The failure of this will result in the cancellation of this guarantee.

* Provide puppy with routine preventive care, such as, but not limited to:

1. Annual physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian.

2. Follow veterinarian guidelines for vaccinations and deworming.

* Puppy must be paid in full by seven weeks of age or all monies paid and all claims to the puppy will be forfeited. If a puppy is sold past 8 weeks of age, other araangements can be made.

* All deposits are nonrefundable unless puppy does not pass the last vet check.

* Any and all shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Health Guarantee:

* This puppy is guaranteed for one year from date of birth against fatal and life altering congenital disease which adversely affects the health of the animal. This includes severe hip dysplasia which hampers the movement of the dog and natural gait and requires surgery to correct, kidney, heart, pancreas, spine, and liver problems of a severe life threatening or altering nature. If the dog dies within this one year time frame, the buyer will pay to have it autopsied to ascertain reason. If reason is congenital, the Seller will replace the puppy.

* This guarantee does not cover what in the bulldog breed is considered normal: cherry eye, entropion, loose hips, skin allergies, elongated soft palate, and stenotic nares (collapsed nostrils.)

* All items covered under this guarantee are by replacement only. We do not give refunds.

* Seller will not be responsible for any medical expenses incurred. Buyer is aware that owning a puppy means trips to the veterinarian and understands that he/she will be responsible for all payments.

* As of the date of delivery, the puppy has received proper vaccinations and wormings. The buyer has been informed of these and of future vaccinations and wormings due.

* This guarantee does not include Coccidia and Kennel Cough, which is common in puppies that are shipped and usually caused by bacteria. Kennel Cough is self limiting and like the common cold, it must run its course. Full recovery is expected and Kennel Cough on its own is not life threatening.

A puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows:

Animal must show the defect by one year of age. Seller must be notified of the problem within 2 business days of the licensed veterinarian determination and have two reports from two unassociated veterinarians stating the same problem and Seller will provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value.

* No refund, in part or in full, will be given.

* A returned puppy must be retuned to the seller in good condition, other than the specified problem, at the expense of the buyer. The owner will then qualify for a replacement puppy.

* Buyer is responsible for transportation costs to and from the seller on a replacement puppy.

* This guarantee applies to the original puppy only and is nontransferable to a second party.

* No replacement puppy will be given if the puppy has been bred, or euthanized without permission of the seller.

* Replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both parties and will be of comparable quality. It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the exact same parents of original puppy.

* There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, for example: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee.

* We DO NOT guarantee against conditions that may or may not be stress related from the move to a new home and/or by the shipping process. These stress related conditions that have previously remained dormant can be triggered by the above and unfortunately cannot be diagnosed until an active case becomes evident. Some of these stress related conditions or illnesses will be discussed in our puppy care information pages and are: coccidia, hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and kennel cough.

* Any physical problem which is or could be the result of injury is not covered under this guarantee.

* There is no guarantee or warranty that the Buyer will be able to show or breed the puppy regardless of show or breeding potentials.

* Seller is only guaranteeing the above puppy as a healthy companion/pet and that the puppys' pedigree is correct to the best of sellers knowledge. Buyer agrees not to hold seller responsible in any way in the unlikely event that a problem might arise from the puppys' parentage/pedigree. (AKC DNA tests run 2 years behind)

* This contract supersedes any and all previous agreements. This contract is null and void if the terms and conditions are not fulfilled.

* Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully, and that this contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of Missouri, in Webster county. It is agreed that any legal issues or court proceedings concerning the puppy purchased under this contract will be resolved in Webster County, Missouri. This extends to internet sales across state lines as well.

If at any time during the life of the puppy/dog concerned in this contract, the purchaser due to unforeseen circumstances cannot continue to keep the dog we are always willing to accept the dog back and find a suitable home for him or her. No exchange of money or replacement is offered in this circumstance.

Shipping/Delivery: Puppy will be shipped between nine and eleven weeks of age. Most will be shipped at nine weeks old, but some need a little more time and will be shipped later.
